The Altruist

The Altruist

For many days,I wanted to write about this topic but was quite bombarded with other thoughts that it became difficult to channel my opinions on this topic.Finallly, saturday is one day when all my opinions come together. ;)

An altruist is someone who helps people irrespective of what he/she thinks about them.No matter how you treat them, they will find it very difficult to refuse to do you a favour.Their good helping nature comes from the fact that they are very conscious of what people think about them. Its difficult for them to fathom the idea that they might be considered ill-fits for the society if they don't help people.Society's opinion really matters to them and they go out of their way to help people out.

Altruists make the perfect friends. They help you out without thinking much about getting something back.Irrespective of how much you help them, they will always come good for you.Such people find it difficult to find potential life partners, because it takes a great deal of maturity to recognize an altruist. It's not everyone's cup of tea.The person (potential boyfriend/girlfriend) generally thinks their partner is doing so out of care and affection for the person especially of it involves the person of an opposite gender. But,the altruist, even though a difficult option for a life partner,is still quite the perfect one.Because,he/she will keeps himself/herself occupied on keeping busy in his/her spare time by aiding others. The process of doubting them reduces after acceptance of their true nature.

Some altruists believe its a disease,a disadvantage to be of such helping nature. They believe its quite impossible to change their nature. It's indeed possible but a daunting task though. All it takes is to recognize the motive of the person asking for help and also his general nature of conduct. These two points will definitely aid in making the decision of helping them.If we observe people around us,we will find that there are but few genuine altruists out there. For life to be simpler and worth living,we need as many sane altruists as possible.

So,please its a humble request if you have an altruist in your group, please treat him/her well and if you are the altruist on your group, please be aware of that fact and don't let yourself get hurt.Better safe than sorry. :)
